The supplier quoted me a price FOB San Antonio, Texas. They failed to mention that when in came into Los Angeles, I would have to pay custom fees, inspection fees, truck clean up fees, and several more nuisance fees. I also had to hire and pay a customs broker to to handle some paperwork required so my agent could pick it up. The total of all of these fees were right at $1,500, an expense I did not expect or was apprised of by the seller. Either they didn't know or thought I should know, either way, this would have stopped me from ordering in the first place. I was forced to pay the extra money or lose everything. And then Alibaba offered to reimburse me $300 for the trouble, in writing, which was a nice gesture except for the fact that they went silent on me and never refunded that $300! I asked several times and no answer. So, a bad experience all around with the supplier and Alibaba.
